I’m a native of New Canaan, CT though I moved west to Provo, Utah to earn a B.A. from Brigham Young University in advertising with a business management minor. Before graduating I took a break from 1996-97 to serve as a Spanish-speaking missionary for the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints in Anaheim California.
My studies in advertising and marketing have taken me many places. After graduation I worked as a media buyer for a Salt Lake City based advertising agency. I was then hired as an account executive by Disney in their Los Angeles radio operations: selling advertising and promotions for their flagship stations KABC and Radio Disney. I focused on sponsored special events in which companies bought promotion space for their products. I was later recruited by Viacom (Infinity Broadcasting) to work at K-EARTH 101, one of the top stations in the Los Angeles radio market.
My husband Dave, in 2004, accepted a tenure-track teaching position at BYU in the Department of Philosophy (he received his PhD from UCLA); so we moved back to Provo and we bought our first home in the Sherwood Hills neighborhood. At that point I worked in a family business, Dressed in White (a white religious clothing store), doing marketing, book-keeping, ordering, and strategic planning.
In 2010, I was approached and hired by a investor to manage her 15 properties in the Provo-Orem area. I marketed properties, executed leases, managed maintenance and repairs, even processed evictions. This gave me first-hand knowledge of the BYU student rental market, including knowledge of which properties are profitable. I was also employed, in 2013, by Real Property Management (RPMSLCWEST.com) as their exclusive leasing agent in Utah County. I showed investment properties throughout Utah County (Spanish Fork to Eagle Mountain and everything in between) and am knowledgeable of mid-level single family home rentals in the range of $1500 to $2000.
I finally decided to put to use my background in marketing and my investment knowledge by becoming a real estate agent at Keller Williams. I work with Emily Moore: one of the top agents at Keller Williams in Utah. I am in the top 10% of sales among Realtors in the State of Utah. For 2014 I won "Rookie of the Year" for Keller Williams for the entire state of Utah. I am committed to hard work and guarantee service, dependability, and integrity. After years of stagnation, the real estate market is improving across the country, and especially in Utah Valley. Now is a great time to upgrade (or downsize) and a reliable and knowledgeable real estate agent is a must. I look forward to working with you.
In my free time I love spending time with my 4 children (two boys, two girls) and my husband. We love living in Utah (and especially Utah County) and think it is a terrific place to raise a family. I love reading (and love my book club) and exercising (mostly spin, but I like to try other things). I also enjoy volunteer work – I’m a cub scout leader and on the PTA board at Canyon Crest Elementary school.
